  • SGG STADIP SILENCE

    • Acoustic, noise control glazing.
    • PVB interlayer absorbs different kinds of sound in order to keep unwanted noise out or to keep sound in.

    Product Overview

SGG STADIP SILENCE is a modern noise control acoustic laminated glass that reliably keeps intrusive noise out, providing the tranquillity essential for working, living and enabling relaxing sleep.

    Applications

SGG STADIP SILENCE is equally suitable for both internal and external use, in appliations such as internal partitions, glass facades and windows, and overhead glazing.

In the case of internal partitions, SGG STADIP SILENCE impresses with its high security attributes. Depending on its thickness, a single pane of SGG STADIP SILENCE can dampen the sound to 47 dB. In a double layer construction, sound insulation values far exceeding 50 dB are possible. In addition, SGG STADIP SILENCE also provides numerous opportunities for creative designs and personalisation.

    Benefits

    • Environmental noise has a detrimental impact on health. SGG STADIP SILENCE has the ability to minimise or eliminate these negative physical and psychological effects.
    • No reduction in visual quality, since it utilises an acoustic interlayer that is invisible to the naked eye.
    • Filters >99% of UV light so reduces the bleaching effect of the sun.
    • SGG STADIP SILENCE can be combined with many other glass products, providing a multitude of high performance, multi-functional glazing options.

    Range and Performance

This acoustic laminated glass contains a film interlayer that has a special dampening viscoplastic core which helps to reduce the transmission of sound. SGG STADIP SILENCE suppresses the intrusion of sound waves around the critical frequency of the glass, be it a single pane or a double glazed unit. In a double glazed unit, SGG STADIP SILENCE achieves an airborne sound insulation index value of up to 54dB.

  • SGG DIAMANT®

    • Extra clear glass with a low iron content
    • Delivers exceptional clarity that benefits multiple applications

    Product Overview

SGG DIAMANT is a unique extra clear glass which is valued for its attractive appearance and optical qualities. The low iron content produces a higher light transmittance and a reduced green tint inherent of ordinary glass. SGG DIAMANT therefore offers a solution for multiple applications and markets where an extra degree of clarity and transparency is required.

    Applications

SGG DIAMANT is suited for numerous applications that require high transparency, clear aesthetics and optical brilliance:

    • Furniture: it is particularly stunning in table tops, shelves, office desks, shop counters requiring thick glass with colourless edges.
    • Interior design or decorating: it is an excellent base glass for back-painting (see VITRIO).
    • Shop windows and display cabinets: it can be used to produce a laminated safety glass with very little colour difference - even in extreme thicknesses.

    Benefits

    • The edges of the glass remain colourless, unlike other glass making it ideal for use in furniture.
    • Optimum transparency: due to its perfect clarity, SGG DIAMANT allows the true colour of display items to be seen and excellent vision quality when viewing through the glass.

    Range and Performance

Available in a range of thicknesses from 4 – 19mm.

  • STADIP PRINT®

    • Fully flexibility in design; can print any image.
    • Transparent, translucent or opaque variations.
    • A laminated safety glass.
    • Suitable for a range of internal applications.

    Product Overview

STADIP PRINT is laminated glass which incorporates two PVB (polyvinyl butyral) interlayers, one of which is printed. The image is printed from a digital file, as supplied by the customer, so there is total design flexibility. Images can also be printed as transparent, translucent or opaque to create different effects, depending on the application and the desired effect.

    Applications

STADIP PRINT is for use in internal applications, such as:

    • Partitions, screens and doors
    • Balustrades
    • Signage and advertising panels
    • Floors

In humid environments, patterns are possible with a non-printed free-edge of at least 10mm.

    Benefits

    • Internal spaces can be personalised, whilst the passage of natural light is retained.
    • Colours remain true to the original digital images, with very good definition and vibrancy.
    • The print is contained within the laminated glass, so cleaning of the surfaces is easy.
    • Can be manufactured with float, heat strengthened or toughened glass.
    • The interlayers used are standard PVB interlayers. Printing on to the interlayer does not affect the safety classification of the product: EN12600, 1(B)1.

    Range and Performance

There are three STADIP PRINT variants:

    • STADIP PRINT CRISTAL: printed image is transparent (approx 40% in the printed area).
    • STADIP PRINT OPALE: printed image is translucent and can be lit from behind.
    • STADIP PRINT VISION: printed image is opaque, with a white backing.

  • CONTRAFLAM® STRUCTURE

    • For frameless glass internal applications
    • Toughened safety glass
    • Extensive test certification
    • Turns opaque in event of fire

    Product Overview

CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE is a product which enables fire-rated frameless glass solutions for internal applications. It consists of two or more sheets of toughened safety glass. The cavity between the sheets of glass is filled with a transparent intumescent gel interlayer which reacts when exposed to fire. The protective interlayer is based on nanotechnology and is UV stable. It also offers high light transmission.

    Applications

CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE is specifically designed for butt-jointed all glass internal partitions. The products can be installed into steel, timber, and aluminium profiles.

Proper installation of fire-resistant glazing is critical to the fire-resistance of the products. The glazing should always be installed in exact conformance to the test certification document.

    Benefits

    • There are no vertical frame profiles, meaning optically continuous, unbroken expanses of glass.
    • Can be combined with other glass products to create different aesthetic effects or provide additional functional performance.
    • Toughened safety glass: Class A safety glazing material BS 6206 / EN 12600 1(B)1

    Range and Performance

CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE offers 30-120 minutes integrity and insulation fire-resistance (EI30-EI120). CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE is for use as a single glazed product, but it can be combined with other glass products to create different aesthetic effects or provide additional functional performance.

CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE LITE offers 30-60 minutes integrity and partial insulation fire-resistance (EW30-EW60).

CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE CORNER is for fire resistant corner solutions. It enables more transparency than ever before, due to the lack of corner profiles. It offers 30 minutes of integrity and insulation fire-resistance (EI30).
